But they fixed it on the fly by upgrading the plastic they were using, and were absolutely phenomenal about getting me replacements. Couldn't have asked for any more.

I have been eagerly anticipating these lights since last year when the new car came out.

Thanks for merging the old and new posts so there could be a poll Joe! Your ghosted reflectors look awesome. Hopefully they've learned what works better for this generation and continue to use the plastic they ended up with on the 5th gen!

That was my vote, it looks like the most popular so far! Maybe when the poll gets more votes I will reply to my email from Oracle and have them check back in and have a look. It's nice we already have 1 option from RPI also.

Definitely interested in the factory ghost paint. Just don't like how it kinda bulged out on the white bmw. Maybe just on that particular model.

On that model it's just how it is, it's pretty flush on the Camaro. I was trying to show an example of the concept of a paint matched reflector drawing from my experience. Anyway the ones they make for BMW are not ghost painted, they are solid painted new replacement pieces with no light inside. So in a way Oracles options for us is better than what those companies make for BMW guys

With that video I added, RPI and Mr. Wyndham picture you have more ideas of what ours would be like.

Not to derail my own post but you know what else I think would look pretty clean? A ghost painted and still functional 3rd brake light. Too bad I didn't think of that for the poll...

Not sure why I didn't think of that either but you're right. Thankfully it's the only light with a red car that blends pretty well at least for me.
I wonder if oracle will custom paint it if one were to send it off to them..

You're right. probably wouldn't be as much of a priority for Red Hot owners but I'm sure it would be pretty desired by everyone else. I'm getting Red Hot and I'd do it at some point if it were offered.

For the sides they make a brand new one with LED lights, I'd imagine if they were to make this they'd probably do the same thing.
