2018 won’t start
First let me say this car has been in an accident on passenger door. Roof & passenger door were cut off to extract passenger. Air bags deployed (except steering wheel?).....
My earlier post asked how to reprogram fob as it didn’t come with a key or fob. I had GM dealer make new laser cut key off VIN and purchased NEW key fob off eBay and programmed it following owners manual directions. Now fob has paired with car but is flashing all sorts of codes - Airbags Theft Deterrent Trunk open Door open Low battery Etc I’m charging battery now but am concerned I may never be able to start the car to verify motor runs....I guess it was was running when the accident occurred. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.... |

What else did they cut? What else was damaged? If you have cut, severed, broken, or shorted wiring that is going to be a problem.

Check the fuses but with it being in an accident and things getting cut, who knows what else could have been cut

It won't shift into Park probably due to Theft Deterrent?
How do I clear theft deterrent? with code reader? |

Code reader should but im not 100% on that. I don't know if many people will help as not many on here have done what you're trying to do.
You might need to just look at YouTube videos and a lot of Google searching. |

I would guess he wants to sell the motor and wants to verify it runs before so.

there is a good sized wiring bundle that runs along the floor board of the drivers side of the car, if that area was cut you could have your hands full.
