The run on flats are for no spare/repair kits etc...

I ditched mine a piece ago, the thread is below this one...

No legalities

I can't imagine those tires are working well with winter temps in Bucks Cty, PA. Unless you are parking the car for the winter you need to get all-seasons. The run flats are summer tires.
Many threads here on the topic of good alternates.

moondog, just as FarmerFran says, the car comes with these so GM doesn't have to include a spare or a tire repair/inflator kit.

You need either all seasons or dedicated winter tires for now, as these are summer only, in my experience they are quite slippery under 60-65°, and they may even crack when used in extreme low temperatures.

Non-runflat tires will give you better ride quality, but you will need a repair kit or a tow if a nail or screw decides to check out your rubber from up close.

I agree with arpad, except I really didn't sense trouble until temps hit the 40's.
The manual expressly warns about these tires cracking in temps less than 30.
It actually says a lot about Camaro buyers that people here are not screaming about suing the pants off GM for putting "dangerous" summer tires on this car. If Honda tried to put summer-only tires on one of their sport models people would be flying off the road left and right and talking class action!
