JRE Built ZL1 1LE Goes 1:14 at Summit Point

Get with JRE on the build - This monster kicks arse and takes names.

All the 2650R heating woes are behind me and I finally got to put some laps down!

Combination of Header Shield on the Headers, CAM (more fueling), Less Boost, Heads by Katech, C&R Radiator, Coated everything we could.

I got more Power Through Effenciency.

on 4.5# less boost it made like 70ish more whp than the last time up to JRE.

I could go longer then the Hoosier A7s would stay grippy.

Congrats! Awesome build, I saw a video from your car on JRE's Facebook page.

Was the initial build, that was running hot, from JRE?

Wait, all that effort + money + Hoosiers + Auto and only 2-3 seconds faster than a stock Manual ZL1 1LE driven by David Kramar?

It was, I asked for a lot of whp from JRE. The heat was a byproduct of that request.

Many across the country trying to run higher than stock boost and do road course stuff were having problems with heat on sustained laps. There will be a different package reccomendation for JRE customers that want to road course, especially the A10 owners.

David isn't 100% stock, and yes on a very short course finding 2-3 seconds does start to cost big bucks.

My car has a 12/13 in it. You will spend booku $ going faster.

Nice driving and great car. Thanks for sharing your insights with us.

2-3 seconds on that track is 4-6+ seconds on most others, it's a big diff. Great lap!
