Going for it!
Hey there!
After some research (and begging the wife), I'm going for a 2SS! I'm in Thornhill, thus I'm close to Roy Foss, Wilson Nibblett, Eastside and Markville. Does anyone recommend one over the others, for a better deal, allocation, etc? Also, I'm more than willing to drive a bit, if another dealer is recommended. I tried to get the $750 offer. No luck when I signed up to My GM though..... Cheers. |

Keep trying.
Some dealers have 2SS in stock. New Roads has a white Auto loaded (55k) with red leather and a black 6spd with black leather.(51k) If that sounds interesting call my man Tony Ladas. Sebastian

I'm in Thronhill too, about 15mins in either direction to the mentioned dealerships. Wilson Niblett: Even though they have a high allocation for Corvettes, they're into selling sports cars, so I think they will do well with Camaros. Eastside & Markville: They may have a low allocation as they're really not known for selling a lot of sports cars. Roy Foss: The Yonge & Steeles store may be changing their image, as I see more Corvettes & a couple of 6th Gen Camaros, but i would still ask about allocation...they've always been known for high allocation on Cadillacs. Roy Foss Woodbridge: They're coming into their own for selling sports cars, they've had an increase in Corvette & Camaro sales. I was told by my previous salesman that they're realling getting a positive for high sales image for Camaro. They're located at Weston south of Hwy 7, in the automall. http://www.royfosswoodbridge.com/HoursAndDirections ALWAYS VERIFY ALLOCATIONS, BOTH MONTHLY AND CURRENT, BEFORE YOU SIGN ON THE DOTTED LINE.

I believe the dealer contract is valid for 90 Days.
Next time I order a car I would put a hand written statement on the contract that dealer shall provide written confirmation to the buyer that order has been accepted and allocation has been provided by the manufacturer within 30 days or the buyer can cancel the contract and receive full deposit refund. I would have the employee initial this statement on your bill prior to giving a deposit. If the dealer is not willing to sign this contract then he is saying that he would rather let you wait, suffer, and hold you hostage. They are not losing any money ordering a car as they never had allocation to begin with and can cancel the order stating buyer has cancelled. |
