Cost of Power
A loaded SS is around 45 grand. Add a Z06 motor and some due dads, POW!
75 grand for what? A cool lap time at the track? |

No!! A very cool lap around the burg!! So it's not your cup of tea. Others love the tea. It's cool you think its a waste of money, but have respect for others and their tastes.

You all know that the the SS can do almost what that ZL1 can do handling wise. It has the same stuff from the Cadillac platform has.
The Zo6 is a different car and you can get one if you are smart for 90 grand almost loaded. |

More like $65K for a non-1LE, but whatever.
My previous car was as quick as an SS, and more money than a ZL1, so that's why I did it. SS would've been a side-grade, although I could've saved a lot of money. I can't really afford a 911 Turbo S (first choice), and since I only plan on being on this rock once, why not? I was looking at it in how GM charges too much but the ZL1 does have high value in the overall market place, you can't blame them for profiting.

Other than the Z06, there's nothing that touches it for < $100K. Beyond that, there's not much that touches it for double the price. |

So much regret for that 2017 Z06 purchase. You really shouldn't pay attention to the automotive press.
