You also have to set the mph well in advance before it will actually shift. I see lots of people’s tune files with them setting them at the mph they want it to shift at and wondering why is going over 7k rpm or hitting cutoff.

EX: say for a 4-5 shift you want it to shift at 100 mph you need to command it much sooner. Mine as an example is set to 92.

I keep the rpm’s at 6800 across the board for wot shift rpm and my car shifts pretty much exactly at 6800rpm.

Many other factors come into play though as you start making a lot of power like line pressure and tons of torque setting adjustments but for most that’s all you need to touch.

That's the nice thing about setting manual mode to auto shift is that it will shift at pretty much the mph you command and doesn't require a bunch of lead time mph(lesser than actual) to hit target shift point vs drive mode. I pretty much leave drive mode close to stock shift points and keep it conservative then set manual mode for when it's time to party.

Correct, tudn mode I pretty much set based off actual shift points in my data log and it’s pretty much on the money.

And dumped 1st gear launch as it’s useless.
