No magic bullet here. Yes you run a much higher soap-to-water concentration with foam cannons. Great way to use up a lot of fancy pH balanced car wash soap... but yeah it's kinda fun to coat the car in shaving cream.

Road grease and tar will always be this way. You will still need some good ol'fashioned (albeit light) scrubbing effort.

Also, running a high soap concentration is not great on fabrics (convertible tops) because you'll be in for a quick trip to rinsing hell for the next 30 minutes.
