That's really nice. Did you do the shifter top as well? If I ever got a ZL1 I'd have to so something just like that. Did you have to take the wheel off? I've saaid this before, but I don't know why GM thinks the alcantara is a more premium material then the leather in the 2SS. It's not. Even like Acura in the new MDX Type S. If you get the Type S it has alcantara material in the center of the seats. If you get the Type S Advanced, it's full leather.

Now that's sweet! The Alcantera was one of the reasons I did not opt for trims above 2SS. I guess Alcantera is a "nice touch" for "super" cars.

That turned out nice.

No, I haven't replaced the alcantara on the shifter or the knee pads and I don't think I will. Yes, I had to take the steering wheel off in order to do this. If you ever decide to remove the steering wheel, there is a couple of threads in this forum with detailed instructions. Feel free to hit me up if you need any advice.

This looks astoundingly good. Did you have to take in the wheel, or were they able to do it with the steering wheel in place?

Thanks arpad. I had to send the wheel. It took a couple of weeks from sending it to the shop until I received it back, but I planned it to take place while I was away, so I didn't need the car during that time. They are a very reputable shop close to London and they do this kind of work for most major brands, including Mustangs and now Camaros.

Saturday I finally got around to installing the SPL toe links and bmr everything else. Today I finished putting the 1le grill and splitter on. I had them paint matched to the factory mosaic black.

Gave it a good cleaning. Had gone to a pumpkin patch with my granddaughter and can't believe how dirty it got... Had a blast though and now it's all cleaned up.

Installed a MBRP axle back and also changed out the reflectors in the rear bumper. Much easier to do when there isn't an exhaust in the way.
