Think of it this way, guys running stock original equipment tires on the higher horse factory stock cars have a lot of spin issue's on the street on a cool day , cool pavement, cool tires. Same car on a sun warmed street and 10 miles of heat into the tires makes a huge difference with acceleration grip, the cars actually hook. At least lower warm rear tire pressure to 25 psi and heat them till you get a little smoke with a standing still burnout (pull out of the water first) and watch for better 60 ft times and less tire spin during shifts

I can appreciate that school of thought. I always questioned whether it was possible to get all of the water out of the sipes. Either way, different strokes for different folks.
