Exhaust leak opinion?

Good evening everyone, I finally purchased a 23’ SS 1LE A10 back in November 2023 and its been great so far until today. When I turned the car on after work I heard a strange sound, what to me sounds like an exhaust leak judging my by old 5th gen. I would like to get some insight to see if it is or it could possibly be another issue. Also if it is an exhaust leak why do you think it would happen on a relatively new car. It currently sits at 6883 miles. Thanks for any input. Hopefully you can see the videos not to familiar with uploading videos on here.

Going by the video, I'm not sure this is exhaust leak.
I would probably start by popping the hood and comparing what you hear under car to under hood.
This sounds more mechanical than exhaust-related.
I would get on that dealer schedule for warranty evaluation, as I think you are headed there.

I agree with ctriz, this doesn't sound like a leak. It sounds like more of a wobble or thump in the video.
Get that looked at before it gets worse.

Does it shake or have a hard time accelerating under light throttle?

I popped the hood after that video and it seemed louder underneath the car, it does shake a little not very noticeable feels like it always has.

It doesn’t struggle to accelerate. It feels pretty normal and drives normal other than the noise at idle. I will see about getting an appointment set up. Thanks everyone

Agree with what you said that exhaust leak unlikely on such a new car.
Since you have automatic, there are many possibilities for moving parts to be the noise source down low. And you definitely want to get that logged with dealer ASAP.

Take it to the dealership to get checked out is my advice to you since it’s really a new car! Good luck.

Some other videos. Checked the oil level and seemed very low just got an oil change last month maybe not even 2k miles. I’ll be calling the dealership tomorrow and see when I can take it in. I’ll keep you guys posted as to what they say. Thanks everyone

How low was it? Hopefully the dealer actually put in 10 qts of oil. Doesn't sound exhaust related based on your vids.

Sounds like they shorted you on your oil change. Happened to me at my dealership on one of my free oil changes. The parts department gave the mechanics 6 quarts instead of 10. Drove it to Atlanta and the next morning the oil level light was on. Called the service rep and told him what was going on. He pulled the ticket where it showed they only got billed for 6 quarts: Added 4 quarts to it and drove it straight back to the dealership to have a discussion with the service manager. Got an extended warranty on the engine for 6 years 120,000 miles. All could have been avoided if the Tech had checked the dipstick. Good luck

This is why I think I'll forgo the free oil change with buying the car new and just change all the fluids myself. Too many stories like this, even though statistically I'm sure it's the exception to the rule.

No one but me has changed the oil on my cars since sometime in the 1990s. Too many horror stories for me to take a chance. Those "free" oil change coupons I've gotten with new car purchases go straight in to the trash can.

Would not surprise me if they grossly under filled the OP's car, as in 6 quarts instead of 10. Read about it on this forum multiple times. Pretty ridiculous that you can't even trust a dealer to due something so simple and basic.
