What about the heating pads?!? I know I'm not the only one that still likes to drive my car in the winter!! But great work on getting the fans figured out!!!

You may be the only one that will need a heated seat in a 1LE. My car will be tucked away safely at my detailers garage.

I knew there were more! Some people up north don't realize that it does get damn cold farther south in winter!

I have a winter beater, so there is no need to subject my car to the ice, snow and salt. It will be washed, covered and when spring arrives it will be fully detailed and I will pick it up. Unfortunately that's 5 months without it, but it makes the time with it that much more special. I define cold as 20°F or lower, BTW. Everyone has a different definition of that as well. Some people are cold at 60°F though. At 20°F I put a jacket on, no not a winter coat, a jacket. So I won't need heated seats.

Also in! wife will love heated seats esp. in the winter. I keep saying I am going to get a "beater" but just cant bring myself to do it, the 1LE is just too much fun to drive. Currently on a work trip in a rented Nissan Sentra and am about to slit my wrists lol

Just ordered all the parts for my circuit, should be in later this week or early next week.
Just need to run ignition power to the seat and splice into 2 of 3, fan wires(+12v and PWM) (The fan up top is connected to the bottom one). I will also be drilling a small hole where you adjust the chairs position for the rotary knob for the fan speed, There is plenty of button/switch real estate, but is is a bit cramped with the door closed. So the Seat heaters unfortunately that is out of my league they are also PWM controlled but the risk of burning the seat/car fire is too much for me to figure maybe someone else with more electrical knowledge can chime in on that. |

Stinks this is way more involved than plug and play

I'll be curious to see how well it works. I've never had cooled seats before, nor felt like I needed them. Maybe I'm missing out on something really awesome.

I mean, maybe i'm missing something but i'm thinking for sure under $50 and some time and a bit of skill with splicing and crimping.
