Resurrecting this thread. Anyone else go with this cam? This sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. Howards is like 35 minutes from me. Maybe they will let me pick one up?

Very nice jobl I've looked at bigger cams also, but don't want to give up low end torque. I bet the TC kicks on and off all the way into 3rd

So this thread was brought back from the dead, but I will try anyways. Does anyone know if the OP was running this cam on the stock converter or did he install something like a 2800 or 3200 stall? I guess that question could also be, does anyone know if the GM performance cam hes referencing requires a stall?

1LE is an M6 (manual) so no automatic. You’d need a VVT version or, a DOD/VVT delete kit and a tune to remove VVT/DOD — Basically an LS3 conversation...

Good stuff! How's the motor holding up? I plan to get some work done at AGP in the spring, and I've got the '15 1le, stock right now... planning to do the same mods that you've done. |

I upgraded the springs to the ones Howard's recommends as well as the trunion upgrade to the brass bushings. Both was done just for peace of mind not because there was anything wrong.

Ever get the car to the drag-strip. I would be interested in the ET and MPH you make with that setup.
