Tuned and on the Dyno today, I'm happy with the numbers
So I installed headers, hi flows and a cam last week. Had it tuned on the dyno today. Got some decent numbers for a fairly stock engine. "486 HP 446 Torque."
Did all the work, except for the tune, myself so it gives you a bit of pride when it works out well. AGP Performance in Newmarket Ontario did a great job with the tune, Thanks Nick !! Drives amazing with unreal torque in the low and mid range. I went out on a limb with this cam choice, so glad I did !! Gave me exactly what I was looking for, couldn't be happier....unless I had a Pro Charger maybe Video of pulls:

Nice numbers. Your poor phone couldn't handle the sound, but that's okay.
How much did all the parts cost? |

Got some great deals on parts, some in US $$ others in CDN $$ -Cam was $325 US, they had an issue shipping and refunded $75 so cost me $250. -Timing gear/ARP bolts $40 US -Push Rods, (Tooleys) $200 Cdn -GESI "Green Cats" $300 each CDN -Headers $271 US (Had a killer deal 60% off sale for one day in Dec) -Gaskets $75 CDN Not too bad for a 100HP gain !

Not yet, only has a .525 lift and no valve float right up to the red line.
Howards Cams version of the GM Performance ASA. 226/236 .525/.525 110* Puts down decent numbers, I know I'll get lots of "should have used a Tooleys Cam" etc but this one got me exactly what I was looking for. Amazing low and mid range with a level torque curve. Good HP numbers too !!

Those are pretty high numbers for a small cam

Its a proven design. More is not always better, the engine is still fairly stock so I didn't want to make the mistake many do by over camming.
