Nope. Put a phillips drill bit head in a combo wrench and went to town.

I did because there is one screw that just goes into the fender well liner. It's dumb, so I installed a nylon block to screw into behind it for added support.

Finished my sub install for my SS 1LE. Definitely helps round out the stereo sound and easy to remove for track days.
