Maybe if you had the tips mandrel bent if possible to be a straight out and then it wouldn't be an issue with placement. I want the sound for my AWE touring to go down as well but I think the level I'm looking for is louder than what you have done there. Still it's your vision so make it happen the way you want.

That looks good, the angle of the tips doesn't strike me as being a bad thing. Still itching to hear it, especially since it's cammed.
