I lived in Chicago for over 40 years and moved to San Diego over 9 years ago... I understand the anxiety of moving from somewhere you've always lived... While Kalifornia isn't my cup of tea, the adventure has been worth it (Hey, I bought a 2020 2SS and can drive it nearly any day of the year (that it isn't raining!))...

I lived in Prescott, AZ for 4 years during college (1986-1990) and absolutely LOVED it... Great little town (however not so "little" anymore...) There are some great roads in AZ for a 1LE, I'm jealous... Out here in SoCal we have so much damn traffic... I can't wait to retire and put CA in my rear view mirror, permanently!!!

I see you are in AZ now...Congrats. Our stories are somewhat similar in that I moved here about 4 years ago from Florida (where I lived most of my life) and at the time owned a Gen 5 ZL1 (M6) and when it was time to move I decided to drive my ZL1 from FL to AZ. What a cool experience that was!

And I LOVE it here. The car scene is "Off the Charts" and the weather is predictable...no Hurricane seasons! Whew...thank goodness! You just do not go out and beat on your car when it is above 105 degrees

If you want to meet other Camaro owners I would suggest going to Chandler C&C https://www.facebook.com/chandlercarsandcoffee/
It is the 3rd Saturday of every month and has a very good American Muscle turnout. I will most likely be there on Dec 19th.
