Questionabout the ‘19 ABS calibration

Hi

Is this something that is backwards compatable for earlier cars?

Is it a whole new unit or just a calibration file?

The only way I'm aware of to get a different ABS cal is through a GM dealer flashing the entire software to the brake module, which is not backwards compatible assuming you can convince a dealer to flash something besides the factory software based on VIN in the first place.

Right, you could buy a new module but it wont have the correct software on it.
