Man you did well. How many miles are on it? I guess at 40k I won't roll off the lot with much negative equity if you got 36k for an 18.

I got my 2018 new for just over $40K out the door. I thought it was a good deal, sounds like yours is too.

Need a little help guys. Looks like I should save some more money now that employee pricing for everyone has hit this morning. That was the deal I made yesterday. Since I can't get there for delivery until this weekend. If the incentives went up my price would go down if the $1k incentive went away my price would go up.

My deal was based around supplier pricing and the $1k rebate. Then to get to $40k it was a dealer discount (hold back plus some I'm guessing) Now its my understanding the supplier is simply $200 over total invoice. Now the employee pricing discount on the car is $3,396. So I'm guessing my expectation should be an additional $2,396 off the car correct? Just trying to get a feel for the situation. Maybe someone who has used employee pricing before can chime in?

Employee price on a $45,615 car is roughly $42,220. There are no other rebates available for Camaro this month. Since there are no rebates this month, you'll have to negotiate with the dealer to see if they will still sell you the car at the price they gave you last month.

If they were pricing the car to you for Supplier less $1,000, then the price would be higher than the $40k you said they were offering. Supplier price is roughly $43,925 on a $45,615 msrp Camaro.

It was supplier price of $43,864 - 1,000 (Chevy cash) - 2,684 (dealer discount after supplier) = 40,000

$40k including all incentives is more than a Great deal. I ordered SS 1LE MSRP $45890 on Nov 3rd and with supplier pricing and dealer discount its $43479 - minus any rebates at the time of delivery. $2500 plus any rebates is the most I saw in the North East. most dealers want full MSRP around here, or $500 off or $1000 off the msrp the most. My brother in law picked one up last week for $43k plus tax including $1000 rebate. original MSRP was $46,260. I would take $40k deal and RUN and not look back.

Just got off the phone with my dealer. They said my price should have went up with the shift to employee and the 1k rebate going away, but they increased their dealer discount to keep my numbers the same...

Go get it if that’s what you want! $40,000 is a good deal for a SS 1LE in my opinion. Sounds like you are hesitant to buy it maybe because you are not crazy about it being red? If you can live with the color then I say buy it. Good luck!

Actually not that at all. I'm flying in this weekend to take delivery. I was just trying to figure out if the employee pricing instead of the 1k rebate last month should help my deal already in place or hurt it. Nah man, I'm stoked and ready to get it in the garage! 😁

I'm eligible for GM employee pricing year round and the cheapest I could get a 2021 1LE is $42,149 on a $45,535 MSRP. GM employee pricing is generally non-negotiable - the lowest they'll go. This change in incentives should have actually hurt your deal since there are no longer manufacturer incentives on top of that, so if they're still matching your original price, go sign papers as fast as you can
