Nevertheless, it is always super cool to pass an uber exotic and congrats to the driver for managing to do it!
A good example, that unless you get to top advanced ranks, driver skill goes a long way. Heck, it goes a long way even in the top advanced ranks

cool vid, but it’s painfully evident the guy in the gt is joyriding. i’d guess the exhaust is stock, unfortunately id say it sounds like mine, which is stock. aka 1970s movie of generic v8 dub, please.

This is what the driver posted in yt.

The cars drivetrain is 100% stock, and I’m on the OEM Goodyear Supercar 3 tires (285F/305R.) I’m currently running Endless RF650 DOT4 brake fluid, and at this track I had Hawk DTC-60 pads front and rear. I am running the GM Track Brake Kit, which has larger air scoops to cool the front brakes.

Hey, that’s me! Feel free to ask any questions, I’ll be happy to answer them.

I talked to the Ford GT Driver after the session and he was an incredibly cool guy. He told me he was going about 7/10ths in that session, because he didn’t intend on driving the car at all. His Boss 302.R blew up its clutch so he registered his “back up car” to run.

Most definitely. Spoke to him afterward, and he was pushing it to about 7/10ths. That car would EASILY pull away from me on the straights. I was only catching him through the corners.

Probably trying not to lay waste to his tires. Honestly, it doesn't even look like he was going 7/10ths.

Hopefully sometime you can run into a Mustang GT PP car or a 350 with some attitude on the track. Then you'll have some fun work cut out. Looked like you were the only aggressive driver that day. I don't think a GT driver will have that "lets go" attitude...unless you show up with a Huracan Performante or something more interesting.

I’ve run against plenty of GT350’s, and typically it’s the same story. They’re a bit quicker in the straights, but eventually succumb to the corners. That same weekend at Mid-Ohio there was a really nice guy in a FP350S that I was sharing the track with. Lots of fun, and he couldn’t shake me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
