With next ordering cycle looming who's still at 1100 - Page 3

Since it's March 9th is it today that your order may get picked up? I see others did earlier this week. Not sure how all this works?

I haven't kept up with the ordering cycles lately, but yes. If your dealer has an allocation for this cycle, sometime between today and this coming Tuesday, they can place an order against that allocation, to be picked up by GM. So if you're at 1100 and all the above occurs, your order will go to 2000, then more than likely 3000 by Wednesday.

Well it's Tuesday .. and as of lunch time and Chevy chat I was still at 1100..

I'm still at 1100 and making attitude & excitement adjustments that I probably won't get picked up in this or final April cycle. But I would kill to know how this game really goes on behind the scenes - is the system equitable, does it favor high volume dealers, etc.?

I have observed two extreme data points on here today: one member ordered in December, and just got a TPW for late April. Another member reports he ordered 3/7 (last week, 2 days before this cycle opened!) and already got picked up. WTF

For whatever it may be worth, Chevy Chat told me that if Chevrolet made an update today, Chat wouldn't know about it until after 9:00 am the next day.

I placed my order right in the middle of an order cycle and was picked up that day. The key is placing the order with a dealer that has an allocation for that particular order cycle. Of course that's the hard part. Every dealer in the country will tell you that they can order it for you, but very few have allocations to actually get one, at least early in the game.

Order is deleted. Dealer has to submit again.

Wow! You sure got into the fray early. You put money down in March 2016. I certainly hope Chevy builds you a car soon. I didn't put money on the ZL1 until August 2016 and I thought I was waiting a long time.

Well allocation didn't come thru .. owner of the dealer came too me ., said find one at another dealer that's already built.. lol might as well be a unicorn .. garnet red a10 no sun roof lol

I ordered an A10 with almost every option on 1/23/2017. Still at 1100 and worried it might not happen. My salesman says that every Thursday when he goes on GM site to place one of his 12 allocations that the constraints are showing 0. He is saying that is preventing him from going to the next step. Any ideas or suggestions out there? GM customer service no help.

Yeah, will be a year since this whole ride started end of next week. I'm hoping to line up my saved vacation with the delivery and ppf install completion.

I'm gonna be so mad if my employer sends me to England for a new contract which has been hinted after I wrap up this current one next month.

It could be that the A10 is on hold. I can't get my order picked up because of the A10.
