Scrape Armor Splitter Protector
I just pre-ordered scrape armor for the front splitter, I banged mine on a rough road crossing about 2 months ago and scuffed the bottom in a couple places.
I started looking around for splitter protectors and found scrape armor at the corvette forums. I went to their site and they didn't have the new ZL1 listed so I called them and then filled out a request for our cars. They responded the next day and said one was in the works and they would let me know when it was available to order. Yesterday was that day!!! Anybody else damage theirs? You get a 15% discount for pre-ordering if you are in the first 50 orders. Just google scrape armor. Buzz |

Pretty expensive! I thought I remembered seeing that the splitters were pretty inexpensive. Seems you could buy several new ones for the cost of the armor.

So for the price of 2 splitters, not several, and a one time installation, I think it is a good deal. It will save the splitter (mostly), time and effort of ordering and changing a new one.
The armor has a lifetime guarantee as well. |

Just to chime in, the front bumper has to come off to replace the splitter. It is not a simple bolt-on bolt-off procedure. So while the splitter is cheap, replacing it is not easy.

Here is my reasoning for still wanting to get it: Most of the roads here are divided 2 and 3 lane, separated by a grass median and usually slightly different in elevation. They are lined with drain gutters/curbs, so most times when you cross over or turn off the main road to any establishment there is a low/high area that has the possibility of causing damage to the splitter.
