How much do you have? I've never bought points before, so no idea on how much. Pm me your thought. I have a guy who has 1893 points and asked for $800 for them to show what I have so far. But looking for 3000 as that is what I can use, but it has to be on one card and can not combine cards.

Don't you have to be an authorized user on the cardholders account? The GM card is a credit card how do you go about transferring points?

Yes, you have to be a authorized user to use points. The card holder adds you to there account as a user, but doesn't give you a card. You use the points when you buy, then the cardholder removes your name as a user.

Ah ok. Had a customer whose grandma added him to the account. But he didn't have a card present so we had to jump through so many hoops. It's such a pain in the ass for the dealer.

All the dealer needs is primary card holders name and address, last 4 numbers of the card, and your name as a user. Not much more then that.

Double check and see how many the vehicle is maxed out at. I had 3050 points but my vehicle 2016 Traverse was maxed out at 1500 GM car points usage.

Looking at a Vette. I bought 1900 points for $800, now I'm just waiting to hit dealer this weekend.
