Nice to see we're in good company. I wonder why the ZR1 didn't use them?

Unless there’s been major advances in their technology, I question their use in that application. It’s my understanding that any serious GT350Rs go to coil overs.

Because Corvette is more worried about being comfortable for old, retired guys. It’s why we have 3500 lbs automatic convertible “Z06s”.

Corvette needs to redo the rear end suspension, it has always been its weak point. It makes the rear-end twitchy and prone to snap oversteer. This is why the Zl1 1LE feels more planted and stable that the Grand Sport or Z06 |

Cars also featuring the Multimatic spool valve tech (in different forms) are: Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 (off-road) Ford GT (height adjustable) Mercedes AMG GT Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Aston Martin One-77 Aston Martin Vulcan (off-road, race) RUF CTR3 And DSSV came from racing. From Autoweek: "It was pioneered in Champ Car in 2002, where it won five championships. It made its way to F1 where it was present on the season winners in the 2010-2013 FIA World Constructors’ Championships with Red Bull Racing. Multimatic dampers were on 25 of the 60 entries at Le Mans last year, including three of the four class winners." ....good company, indeed! |

Why throw all that aero on a car that isn’t supposed to be a track car? Seems like they don’t know what they want to do.
