Finally bought my dream car!

Finally was able to purchase my dream car, a 2017 ZL1 with a 2019 crate engine. 500 miles on new engine 8300 on chassis total. Bought for 47k. Not a bad deal! Hasn't arrived to Texas yet, but so excited to get it. Clean as a whistle. Already bought tons of CarPro products to get a great clean on it. So excited, can't contain myself. How do you guys feel about the crate engine deal? Think it's a positive since it's a 2019 and shouldn't have an oil pump issue? Or vise versa? Thank you!!

Congratulations and welcome to the ZL1 club here! I like those ZL1 floor mats but haven’t decided to get some for mine yet!

Thanks so much brother, so excited to get her. Was such a hard decision between M6 and A10, but feel I made a good decision. May just have to get a tune and some tasteful mods to keep up with the A10's.

You forgot the most important pic...the engine bay. Curious tho, what happened to the original engine that it needed a crate engine?

The oil pump failed. Seems pretty common on the 2017's

Yeah I’m hoping my 2017 doesn’t have the oil pump failure as it was a mid year build.

If anything, hopefully it happens in warranty if at all. GM seems pretty good about replacing it if the oil pump fails. Hopefully nothing happens though.

Great car! Those tires with white lettering make it more sporty looking.
