Should I Buy This Car?

Thank you for the advice! (deleted content as to not put the seller on blast due to locating eBay auction).

The front tires used to be on the back.... and I bet it is at least the second set of tires at 31,000.... I would add up the repairs and tires at take it down more.... lots of Camaros out there...patience will pay off

Agreed, thank you. We will see what he does. I guess we can all agree that the price needs further reduction.

I hope you saw my comment in the other thread about buying a car that has a code. Buying a car like that out of state would be even worse. You would never recoup the cost of getting it to pass inspection.

I did see it, and thank you again. I really appreciate the feedback.

Hate to say it man, but I think you just need to save up some money and wait. I know it's not what you want to hear, but buying a car with issues just because it satisfies your spending ability isn't really a good idea IMO. You could end up spending a TON of money in repairs.

Good luck.

Be patient. The right one will come along. You don't need to be driving it in the winter anyway.

Totally agree, I'm gonna hold off but will still check around to see whats available. May need 2016's prices to come down a bit. Hopefully the "refresh" will take care of that for me.

I also agree with CrazyCatGuy, patience will pay off in the end here. If you can save up a couple K more, your options will improve a lot, you won't have to deal with half destroyed drivetrains and issues concealed by douchebags.

Once that happens and you find the perfect one, the money issue will slowly fade into oblivion and you'll end up with a great car, whereas constantly having to fix this and that will sap your enthusiasm and joy.

I know waiting sucks, but if it's any consolation, I can't (won't) drive mine either until March because of the temperature and the insane local salting regimen. At least you have some time to zero in on the best of the best
