I didn't realize you are running meth. That changes things a bit. How much of it are you running with 93? I still think you are a full point rich, but maybe Brett can chime in.

This sounds similar to what happened to me

I get Maggie installed by a fairly well known shop but unbeknowst to me probably isn't very familiar with the new LT1.
Car makes big numbers on Dyno but absolute shame at track. I'm talking stockish times.
Take it to Vengeance and Mike sits down with me and shows everything wrong with the tune the original shop did.
Car makes more reasonable numbers now and performs so much better.
Hope people who are thinking about boost see this thread and what guys like Pray and Kinglt1 are posting.
I wish I went the NA route sometimes because it's way less complicated and more consistent.

I run 100% meth. The controller is on 6, which is pretty std from what I've read. I'm running 91 here in Utah as we don't have 93. 4500 altitude.

My responses were to the OP. I didn't even read your stuff grandpa_SS. I will go back when I have a sec.

But quick answer, you need to be around 12.2 AFR. Not sure what the deal is with your different sides and what not. You would need the WB in both sides at WOT to verify. So, if you are running meth, you need to lean the car (real fuel) out to where on meth it reads 12.2. If you are on enough meth to do that you will need 16*-22* of timing to burn it and make power depending on the altitude and boost. Injector timing plays a big role in this equation as well. I won't even get into fake rich readings and what not with that stuff. See where this gets sketchy with F/I cars. Hope this helps.

Yea I was looking at his log and lambda is in the .69-.72 range getting richer above peak torque and timing was 11-13degrees. I don't know how it could have even made the power that it did with this tune up. Almost like the tuner put a tune on it to pull that Dyno number, then pulled 100hp out of it by pulling timing and flooding it with fuel before giving the car back.

That's not what I want to hear. I doubt that's the case...at least I sure hope not. But something is way way off. That being said, the car does NOT feel like the beast that it should be. He sent me a new tune to address the rich AFR. But take note that the reading you're seeing in the logs is from the AFR gauge that logs the bank that runs .8 richer than the other bank. so the bank you're not seeing is .8 to 1.0 leaner.

Can running a little rich really kill my trap speeds that much? Hopefully the answer is no and its the timing or lack thereof that's hurting me the most.

Both you guys need to find a good tuner ( not an easy thing to find ) .. First tune I had was prochargers Canned tune 480 hp ....2 tuner got me 500 hp . 3 tuner got me 550 hp ...The last tuner I used and still use today got me 602 hp ..All those tunes were on 93 pump gas with the same boost numbers .. It cost me a lot of money to get the car tuned right .. Best thing you can do is find out who is going fast with a Procharger and get the name of their tuner ..

When ever I see my IATs above 140 I'll see a couple of degrees of timing pulled on the big end and my mph is usually down a 2 mph and maybe a tenth. It has to be in the 90's for my car to get over 140 but I've had it happen when I'm bracket racing and the classes have a shit load of cars. I'll correct most of that with my new heat exchanger that I'll be installing next year.

Was all of this stuff your Mustang? Not an LT1 Camaro?

Yes my 2015 mustang.. Not going to do this on my 2018 Camaro ..Not going to spend 2 years of my life looking for a good tuner for the Camaro ..
