305/35/20 rubs on the rears. 285 may not rub... Now that we know you're doing 285 all around, maybe the Pilot Sport A/S 3+?

Why not go 295/30-20 all around, the 295's are approved for 10 - 11" rims? Members here have mounted 295's up front without issue. Anyway, how do you like them (dry, wet and noise) I had Toyo's on my truck once and they were pretty milk toast, not really great at anything but nothing bad either.

Toyos
I could not find any all season in the stock sizes and I did not want to risk rubbing by going bigger in the front. They are just for the winter/cold temps. It is just nice having traction again. For the past few weeks it has been in the 30s in CT and the stock Goodyears were not cutting it in the cold. Tires are quite and they are not kicking up as many rocks which is nice.

I had the DWS on a '13 Camaro SS and the DWS06 are on my current 2016 Camaro SS. Where I live we do have some nice curvy backroads and either handled those very well. I cannot drive to the limit being public roads but they can handle more than I was willing to to them to under those conditions. I never have ran a a road course or anything like that. Straight line acceleration was similar between the two. Never been to a drag strip so cannot speak to that type of traction. |
