How did the ZL1 not make this list???

Automobile Magazine seems to never give credit where it's due, often pubbing high dollar exotics. Here is one more example although I'm happy the Focus and Civic made the list, but it seems laughable to totally dismiss the ZL1. A car that has the potential to run with or embarrass most vehicles here, seems odd to be left out. I wonder why.

Many magazines out there which cater to anything but domestic performance vehicles.

Magazines and many people these days disregard American cars immediately...

It's sickening to hear people say stuff like "Yeah but it's just a Vette/Camaro"...

And they use lines that are 20 years outdated like "Yeah American cars are great in a straight line" and think that Vettes and Camaros can't corner.

Then you go to a track day and watch a Z06 annihilate every single car at the track day...And he can drive his home, fix it with a hammer, and have $200,000+ left in his pocket compared to the guy with the McLaren

I agree 100% Not only did they gloss over the ZL1 but not 1 single domestic HiPo vehicle in there? WTH? At lightning lap last year the Vette GS utterly destroyed the NSX, Cayman and M2

The problem is that it is Automobile magazine, that is why no hi-power domestics are in that article.

I don't get it with the BMW M2. It's a 55K small BMW that is barely faster then a V6 Camaro. And not get started with a M3 vs SS.

This is why I cancelled all my auto magazine subscriptions - they all became heavily biased against domestic cars. Some issues should have only been published in Europe....

Like one respondent said, "still using statements from 20 years ago...", or "it's just a Chevy...", etc......

You miss the point. It's a super fun old school vehicle on a track. It's not the fastest. But it's fun lap after lap after lap.

Don't get your feelings hurt. That magazine didn't pay for YOUR car. YOU did! Magazines are all opinions and moods of journalists at that moment. 6 months later the same car is great again.
