I can get a 4.6, w/traction cont. on, but I've probably got a bit better traction than you.

It does have the 0-62 timer but its a major pain in the ass to operate.
I have only got it to work in doubletap mode.

I was messing around the other day trying to beat my best times and accidentally left TC on in touring mode and got a 4.3 0 to 60 run in my m6 ss, not my best but better than my usual. This 6.9 is hard to believe, I know I have 305s vs your 245s but still

The car timer is hard to operate? Maybe they're different but it's quite easy on the ss, set it and when you're ready hit start then go when all set.

Going to pull the car out tonight and try to find a road to test the timer.

Turn traction control off, rev it up to ~2,700 RPM and feather the clutch.

Okay just ran a 4.8 using the dash timer. Smokey launch with TC on. Every asshole in my neighborhood was in their front yard. At least 4 fat women waddled into the street to shake their fingers at me.

I found the timer works best if you drive around with "reset" highlighted.
Then just hit select when the opportunity comes up.

That sounds more like the way it should be.

Phew, I was ready to cancel my LT1 Order.

OP Take your LT1 to a track and see what you can do. The lighter car should make up for a little less traction. But if the GM bog is there in the 2020s there is that to try to overcome. Chevy says the right clutch modulation can minimize the effect, but I never found it. :(

Dude! Find a deserted road. Or at least prep your street. And don't ever mess with big momma.
