Camaro Turkey Trot, Sunday Nov 20
The Camaro Club of San Diego is hosting a group drive Sunday November 20th. Open to All Camaros.
Meetup at AAA in Poway. Drive back roads to Del Mar. Then see the races at the track. (not required) Meet Greet 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM; AAA 12630 Sabre Springs Pkwy #301, San Diego, CA 92128 Head out at 9:00. |

A little more detail on this event this Sunday morning:
Camaro Club of San Diego Annual Turkey Trot Sunday, November 20, 2022 Welcome all to our annual Turkey Trot cruise with a twist. This year we will be taking a short cruise and will end up at Gelson’s Market in Del Mar before we head into the Del Mar Racetrack to enjoy Toys for Tots and some horse racing. (Entry into the track is an unwrapped toy per person). We will be meeting at the AAA in Poway for a little coffee and donuts starting at 7:30. This portion and the cruise will be open to anyone who shows up. This will be a little recruiting meet up that we will post on social media. We will have our annual drawing for the two $50.00 gift certificates. (This will be for club members only). We will then depart AAA at around 9:00 or so and head towards the hills of Ramona and take Highland Valley Road towards Escondido. Once we get to the 15 freeway, we will take the freeway one exit north to Via Rancho Parkway where we will stop for a potty break and to let everyone gather up and then head towards Del mar via Del Dios Hwy and Via de la Valle. We will all park together at the Wells Fargo bank which shares a parking lot with Gelson’s Market. From there once we are all set, we will drive over to the Del mar Racetrack and enter through the side/back gate off Via De La Valle. I have listed the addresses for AAA and for Gelson’s. Hope to see everyone on the cruise and if not, we will meet you at the Wells Fargo parking lot near Gelson’s Market. Had a great turnout at the Camaro Club of San Diego 2022 Turkey Trot, had 15 Camaros total (only 14 pictured, missing a 5th Gen)... Great time and brought a lot of great toys for the Toys for Tots fund raiser!
