When your knees start to go, you will change your mind. A manual does not mean you are a man, or well endowed. You either are, or you aren't. An auto does not lead to and EV, you might want to get yourself a new "bucket" the one you have is pretty flocked up.

It is very funny to me how people complain about EV but drive autos. Same bucket to me.

Just so everyone knows, the base ct5 starts at 84k, and the ct4 starts at 60k, just in case someone missed that. Only a tenth of a second between the two with the 0-60 times too!

These are way out of my price but I'm glad to see GM putting them out. I'm seriously considering a CT4-V (non-Blackwing) as my next car. Same platform as the Camaro, so it should have great handling.

Plus it'll have a usable trunk opening, and much better back seat room than the Camaro.

This is still years away for me so I'll probably change my mind before then

Really liking the exterior styling and rims, sweet seats too. Glad to see manual offered. I like manual in 2 doors, I would go auto in these.

Serious question, would you rather drive a manual?

If yes see #1
If no see #2

#1 - You are in a different bucket. You are the "1%er", SO autos in these cars should be for certain people - like yourself - not the masses like they currently are

#2 - see my original post

Like usual, since the first "CTS-V" they are a thing of awesomeness.

I would take any generation over the generation competition any day. The new ones are that much nicer.

For me, I would either drive a manual or drive a hybrid/EV, but that's my opinion.

I have some older people tell me that I may change my opinion about manual trans when I get older... Only time will tell. I did shed the manual elitism I had when I first learned a manual trans. Nowadays it's whatever for me, as long as you are happy with your car. Who am I to judge?

Getting stuck in traffic with a manual sucks, but in my area, it's not too bad, and the pros outweigh the cons IMO.

Was thinking this as I read your response. Whole heartedly agree. I was a manual guy before kids, still was with three toddlers, and still am with those three toddlers having morphed into teenagers that won’t stop eating.

I like this new fancy a$$ caddie with a big V8 and stick. it’s refreshing after all the EV future/ ICE death I’ve been suffering thru reading here for so long. I may be in denial, but it’s refreshing nonetheless.

#save the manuals.

This hit the feels deep, starting to sound like I'll still be rowing through 6 gears with the grand kids in the back, in the meantime still waiting on the 1st born. Hopefully will be able to do it in this caddy, may be the coolest m6 sedan ever.

It would be really nice to see GM give proper farewell to the ZL1, too.

I'd love a version of this car with the LT1 and a price closer to $50k.
