2016 TCM in 2017+?

Anyone know if you can use a 2016 TCM in a 2017+ A8? If so, does it just need the VIN programmed or still need the full unlock from HP if you want to use it in a 2017+? Thanks.

Cant do that. Vin and OS needs to match. I doubt the os is the same especially since they changed the ecm from e92 to e92a but check there first.
