99,000 on my '16 2SS, bought it at 46,000. Have replaced one rear hub bearing, front brake pads, front lower control arms, rear toe links, and a battery. Will get past 100K in a few weeks, I'm sure.

This is a very common problem apparently and some sort of defect which is sad that its a hose rupturing, a common hose used on cars everywhere. I am not sure exactly how much innovation has been behind reinforced rubber (I think EPDM) coolant hoses but it sucks that such a dumb thing is causing issues in these motors, especially since all it takes is for some person who dosen't know any better to keep trying to drive it with no coolant and do damage.

However, I will say, especially if you still have AFM, I think these things do a good job at cutting cylinder and power output to try to keep themselves from overheating, at least enough to force someone to stop and try and fix the problem haha.

No AFM, had it tuned and turned off last year

I forgot to say my cam is destroying (relatively) my engine. So the 9/21/2019 mile oil change on the far right was stock motor. The next one I put a 228/236 .635/.635 114 TSP cam and Johnson 2210's with PAC dual springs. Then around 06/2021 I took the TSP cam out after I destroyed the #7 intake valve seat (GEN V LT1's are supposedly known for crappy valve seats but still up for debate), I then put in a 226/228 .630/620 114+3 Cam Motion and new pair of PAC dual springs.

So looks like the cam is chewing up the motor. Iron is extremely high, but not sure that you could isolate which valvetrain component since I don't think each component has any specific elemental identifiers, they are all mostly steel.

I still think this is relative, while it may look like its destroying the motor comparing the metal contamination to pre-cam levels, I think this just shows more how incredible modern engines, components, materials, and oil are at suppressing wear. Basically a stock motor should not wear out.

I know though for sure the POS sounding tick tick sewing machine is about to drive my insane, especially if you are driving with the window down next to a wall, the motor really sounds like a POS car. I am almost positive this is just from the cam and lifters, I know I definitely don't remember it stock, but I haven't ruled out that maybe it could be the extra 33% fuel lobe which is stroking the high pressure fuel pump more and making more noise, maybe.
