Pricing - Stock vs Custom order

Hi All!

I’m looking at purchasing a 2SS 1LE and I’m struggling to find one that has all the options I’d like at the dealers around me. There are a few good deals around but not with the exact options I’m after. Will I be able to get all the incentives and the deals if I custom order through them or will I have to pay MSRP?

You will get the incentives, but the dealer might not budge as much as they would with a car on their lot.

You will of course pay way less than if you order.

One dealer in my area is ready to let go a 34k msrp car for 30.7k because they have the car for more than 10 months. Since it doesn't have all the features I want, I ordered one and got 33k (added a 1k option, so close to 32k if compared with the same options).

There's a difference.

If you really want those options, you will have to pay for them.

I believe I've heard that you only get the incentives active at the time of delivery, not the time of order, so that may be a question you want to ask your dealer to clarify.

What options are you looking for? It may be worth searching outside of your area and working with that dealer to deliver to you... Or fly out and drive it back.

That's what my dealer told me. But since I've ordered the car, the price won't go higher than what I've been told. If the incentives are more important, the price can only drop.

Thanks for the input guys! I’ll have to compare shipping cost vs the added cost of ordering one then!

Call BeckyD. She advertises on this site and treated me very well. Many members are familiar with her and have purchased from her. I ordered my car via Becky and had it delivered right to my garage. I completed the paperwork on my workbench and it couldn't have been smoother. Also, she provided the best pricing I could find!

I would buy from Becky again!!

I ordered and payed MSRP to the nickel. Didn't have to worry about any extras or missing items, or travel and shipping. I felt that all the work and cost of traveling/shipping/etc.. would negate the cost saved on not ordering and sacrificing some options.

You can still get incentives but like crosive said, you'll only get the incentives available at time of pick up. There are some decent ones regularly available, but nothing spectacular.

I picked up one off the lot.
Got it for about 82% of MSRP, about the best I saw advertised in the eight months I was looking. It was manufactured in Feb. and I purchased in Mar. so only about a month old.

To me $7700 discount was worth taking a Black car over the Mosaic Black I originally would have liked, and a three hour joy ride home from the dealer down in Maryland.

One day of pollen and you can't tell Mosaic, from Black, from Nightfall. lol

2SS 1LE with PDR and Sunroof
I am looking at dealers outside my state but shipping costs negate the savings :(

That sounds like a sweet deal!!!
I'd be flexible too for that kind of a discount!

Already reached out to her. She was supposed to get back to me yesterday on pricing and shipping. Haven't heard back
