Why don't you at least wait until tomorrow before passing such harsh judgment.

Because the design is going to change from today to tomorrow?

Like I said, if others like it, cool deal. I'm happy for you. With all new things, some like it and some don't (read majority the comments...nuh uh). I've been looking at the pix all day. I finally decided (after how many pages now?) to finally say something. Harsh? Nah...I don't really think so. I'm just pretty darn disappointed. I had higher hopes.

And if pix tomorrow change my opinion, I'll obviously be back with some new comments.

I'm not impressed like I was with the 5th Gen released thus far. A refresh will be sooner than later. I'll wait til tomorrow though. I do too have high hopes for the Camaro brand. So I'll wait til tomorrow for the official release to pass judgement.

I'm not wild about what I see so far either. I just mean, wait for it to be completely unveiled before calling it a failure. If you still feel that way after tomorrow then fine.

Thankfully there are 2 other cars that compete in this segment to choose from.

After seeing all of the renders that Chaz did and looking at the pictures today, I don't see anything that would keep me from getting a 2016. And the specs are really sounding good. I hope they don't wait too long to release the convertible. I'm in.

Looks like a rental car. Lol This probably wouldve been accepted better had not the 2014 refresh been done, but damn that car still hasnt shown up in any video games movies and tv shows. Those damn tail lights. Lol Some like stuff to grow on them, me i need to like it or i'm settling, and when spending between 30-40k i dont wanna settle. Id rather have a Corvette but those tail lights look like they belong on a firebird a car that wouldve been the half the price. Performance matters, yes, but looks mean more ask that amazing GTO beast on the numbers, but it looked like a watered down Grand Prix. A 2014 is in front of me no one notices it, i come past in my 2010 i get thumbs up. look up value on 10-13 vs 14-15. New 2016 is a move in a different direction, its a gutsy move but i wouldnt dare trade or sell my paid for show award winning car for a 2014-2016, now if i won a new one thats different, i would sell the car I won! lol

cars are like women, some are old, some are new, some get turned on easily some need a lot more help, some you just wanna drive into the river, some you can't wait to get inside of, some are expensive to maintain, some are low maintenance, however if you treat them right, you'll have her for the rest of your life.....

from what I saw today I like the 2016 Camaro - but I want to see more details and seeing it in person makes a huge difference - let's wait and see what tomorrow brings !

One thing I quickly noticed. It seems pretty apparent that the sneak peaks were Photoshopped or in one way or another enhanced.

The edge under the c-panel was VERY sharp in the last picture however the actual car seems much smoother.

YES!

REQUEST: chazcron, add this hood to your render (now that we know what it officially looks like) :-)

The funny thing is that not too long ago there was a lot talk on here about how some didn't want a radical change. A lighter, faster Camaro on a new platform with new interior that doesn't stray far from 5th Gen's success.. Sounds like a winner to me!!

The Taillights might actually look much better is person:

Now that we know the shape, and can see the actual LENS on a high quality image (well photo as apposed to a screen capture), I think it will look much different (better) in person.
