Hello Becky, how are you. I have a mystery question for you... seeing that you are a Chevrolet enthusiast and both Camaro & Corvette owner and that you may have connections with the proper people to clarify this mystery.
To start, i just got delivery of my Canadian order for a 2020 Camaro ZL1... and when i opened the hood at the dealer to inspect my new car...i noticed a "engine builder plaque" placed in front of supercharger saying engine was built at Performance Build Center in Bowling Green KY. Aren't ZL1 engines from Tonnawanda? I also did some research on cars for sale in U.S. and was able to confirm with proof of pictures that certain ZL1's do have these same plaques and others do not. It seems to be irregular, and to my approx. count...only less than 20% of 2020 ZL1's in the U.S.have these "bowling green built plaques" and approx. 10% in Canada. What do these plaques mean and why are they in Camaro's ??? Do you know anyone who i could contact for these answers???

When Tonawanda is running behind or Bowling Green has surplus, these plaqued engines may appear in Camaros. Since the C7 is no longer in production, excess plaqued motors made it into Camaro's.
