My local dealer said early August

It looks like early August or just in time for CamaroFest or just after will be the time frame we will be able to place orders.

This is internal GM whispers, but my dealer has been pretty spot on over the years.

I wouldn't doubt that. Although there is a source showing July 23rd as the day order banks open up....but that was posted in a different thread on here. Who knows.

But I can see August being correct for initial orders. Then production beginning Sept - October time frame, and finally hitting dealers November/early December.

Man...the long wait begins. Its 2009 all over again.

Oh 2009 how I have missed you. I tried to get a car but the wait was forever here in California and ended up passing and got a different car. Finally got my car in 2013.

This time, I am #1 on the list at my dealer.

I am right there with you, no sense in getting the car to start driving it in the winter in pa. That will also give me time to get another set of rims with winter tires for next winter.

Makes me laugh when I see you guys worry about winter and winter tires . because here we don't have winters its always warm here at winter.the only time I change tires is for track

We will also see what kind of bugs start to show with a new car...I really wish I could just order as soon as the banks open! Financially I could, but I would like to drive it as much as possible(preferably not in snow)so waiting will be my best bet. Although a used Stingray could pop up between now and then..

Donlen still shows July 23 as the Initial Order Acceptance date for Canada and TBD for the US.
