Do dealers have the info on 2016 Camaros now?

Just got a call from a local dealer who said they can order 2016 Camaros. She said she can go through all the options and trim levels on the computer now.

I am skeptical. According to the schedules I've seen July 23rd is when orders open.

GM has yet to release all certified standard features and options for each trim level to the public.

I am always skeptical about dealers...... can anyone confirm this is true?

Would be nice to hear from fbodfather on this!

Yes this is true...I did the same thing on Saturday with my dealer. All trim levels show up with all options. I actually pre placed an order for a 2SS, with all the options that I wanted. You can save it in GM Global Connect, but you can not officially place it yet it to GM, it will not be accepted. Hopefully that 23rd date is true. For now my order is sitting saved, but will be pushed out manually by the sales manager I have been dealing with once order banks are open. I am first at my dealer, that will have a large allocation, especially initially.

So now we have a 2nd dealership that seems to be able to see all options.

Something is up with how GM is rolling out their ordering system. Some dealers can see it, and others can't?

Someone needs to get us screen shots.

By the way, your dealer almost surely can't submit the order yet, but its cool that they can see options!

I'm going up tomorrow. I am not going to order the car yet, and I'm certainly not giving the dealer any of my money to hold a spot for a car that by this time next year will be in full production mode. But I do want to see all the stats.

Not sure if I can get screen shots off her computer but I will certainly try to get her to print all standard and optional features for all trim levels. I'll play dumb and say with the three engine and trim levels now available I am not sure exactly which way I want to go so I want to mull everything over at home, even though I do know exactly what I want!

Still trying to get the printed sheet of my options selected...haven't heard back yet, after a few attempts. Got to love dealers!

Dealer finally sent me scanned copy of my order, as you can see all options are listed that I ordered. Sorry for being blurry, but you can make most of it out.

Sure enough....... Dealer just called to tell me they "are having a hard time seeing everything on the computer".

Like I said....... I am no fan of dealers. We need the Tesla sales model, but that's an argument for another day and forum.

Not that I saw...the only big options I did not choose was the sunroof (hate the look of the roof with it) and Navigation (waiting for Android Auto).
