What are my chances of getting a 1SS?
So this time next year, I'll have 32k max, maybe if I pinch my pennies super hard I can have 33k. What are my chances of driving a 1ss off the lot at that price or less next year this time, or maybe if I waited a few more months until the 2017 is released? I know prices havnt been released yet but I just wanna know if it's even worth getting hopeful for....
I don't need magnetic ride control or dual mode exhaust. I'm mostly interested in the technology features (aside from the engine) so that stuff is important to me. Iv been interested mostly in the i4 and v6 because it was all I thought get I could get, but I realized most of you guys will be ordering yours so maybe by not ordering special I can get a good deal on one that has been on the lot for awhile. |

my guess would be that with your budget, the best chance at getting an ss is to find a 2016 clearout 1ss with little to no options..... this time next year it's going to be hard to find an amazing deal, i would wait until the 2017 is starting to hit the lots to get a good deal on a 16

That is including financing, wife gave me a 30k financed budget and anything over that comes out of my personal savings, and I'll have an additional 2k-3k to add.
Maybe I'm better off getting the V6 anyway. I was dead set on a fully loaded 4 turbo until I heard the exhaust note of the v6. Sound is important, and man it just sounds so good. Of course the v8 sounds sooooo much better! |

If only it were that easy! Lol I may be able to work something out, who knows. I have to have android auto and the center display, no matter what model I get. So it may end up being a thing where I can't afford it anyway if that is a feature of the 2ss, or some kind of technology pack that drives the price up. |

You have to have a bargaining chip with the wife. I made the the deal with mine that if she lets me get the 1SS I will get rid of my motorcycle. Both my mom and her hate it and I would eventually get rid of it when I have kids which would be in the next few years, so might as well use it to my advantage. I even convinced her that the sooner I get the Camaro the sooner I get rid of the bike.

If you have such a strict limit, I would save until you get the car you want. Don't force yourself to buy one that isn't exactly what you want or you won't be happy.

What do you drive now?
If you want a v8 for 33k your best bet is a slightly used 1 year old with a couple options on a 1ss. |

The last sports car that I had was a 240sx with an SR20 swap in it and thats been a few years ago. I have been considering the following: 2016 2LT V6 2016 1SS (if even possible) 2015 Challenger R/T 2014-15 SS 1LE I will probably be happy with whatever I pick and I have an entire year to figure it out lol |

i have seen some of the 2015 SSs for right around 32/33K new, I am sure depending what kind of factory rebate, trade and cash down you could be at or below 30K financed.
