Ignore him, this is the same guy that posts 500 times how he doesn't like the SS 1LE wheels...seems to me anything he is missing out on he shoots down.

We all know the 1LE package on the SS, especially this time around, is MUCH more then just a simple option package...it will transform the car.

I'm not missing out on anything. Lol if I wanted a manual Camaro, I would have a 1LE.. I'm not knocking down anything.. I wasn't feeling the new 1LE wheels, but after seeming them photoshopped on a hyper blue... They are slowly just maybe growing on me.

I'm a Camaro fan, from 1st to 6th gen & all in between. Btw, welcome to the forums, Cheers!

Yeah. If it were just the wider wheels/tires and eDiff, it's be psyched just with that stuff alone.

Technically true. The transmission has a different designation, though, because of the gear ratios - and that's what people are talking about.

I gotta say, the SS 1LE has the best looking wheels of any Gen6 yet.

Have you seen the ZL1 rims on the gen6? They are a nice change from all the 5 star stuff we been getting.

Yeah the ZL1 wheels look okay to me personally, but maybe a little too "busy". I like the look of the SS 1LE wheels better.

look like a nightmare to clean especially with high performance Brembro brakes that always dust like crazy.

+1
+1
+1
+1

(a +1 for each wheel!!)

I thought the same thing when I saw those wheels. The new ZL1 wheels look really nice....but I can see the wheels taking as long as the rest of the car to wash/clean!

Actually think they would be just as if not quicker to clean vs any other wheel. Even with the busier look.

Brake dust doesn't just wash off with a hose. You need to get in to every nook and cranny and physically clean it off. Those ZL1 wheels will not even be close to as fast as a set of 5 spokes to clean.

One of the 1st things I'm going to do is look for performance ceramic pads for the car. They just don't dust as much, offer great performance still, and don't harm/corrode/bake into the wheels.
