Technical support did respond. Maybe more of us should ask the same question so they know how interested we are to have a slight upgrade to the firmware.

This is the response:

“Engineering is looking into this, but does have a time frame as to when this may be available.”

Just emailed Banks and asked if they could add Knock Retard to the iDash. I agree that the more iDash owners we can get to ask them, the better!

May 2nd I emailed them again and on the 11th this is what they said. I’m not giving up on this because it can’t take much time to at the PID and upload firmware for us to flash. I’ll try again next week.

I’m not sure why they replied the gauge wasn’t available. The chain of others messages was included. My guess is they didn’t read the last or previous emails.

Has anyone else (I know Josh did) emailed them about adding knock retard PID?

Yep, I did. To get some results, it’s looking like I may need to up the annoying factor of my emails to them by going from “enthusiastic customer” to “needy customer”.

pixel 3xl. no I disconnect it when not in use. I really only use it if I am going to make some pulls or after I fuel up to check E content.

The Aeroforce gauge will read total knock, knock counts, and knock learn factor. The Banks won't read these?? They are critical. Does it read the IAT2, MAT1 and MAT2 on the LT4? Can it run the fans and IC pump so you can cool engine while staging? I know the Aeroforce does all of this but not sure about the Banks. I don't want to buy something if it doesn't have the features I need.

The wideband is AEM 30-0334 I believe. It communicates over the car’s can network so you can see wideband right in your HP Tuners data logs. Sweet.

The Supergauge is part number 66560 according to my invoice. I just got the gauge only version, no data logging. If I want to data log I’d rather use HPT.

It doesnt do all that, but also doesnt look like a 90s calculator. Some may use those features. I dont. When im at the track im connected to HP tuners anyway so either the banks or aeroforce wont work in My situation. So i prefer having the looks of the banks for my everyday driving stuff.

P.S. now i remember reading the same comments from you a few years ago… I dont know why you keep trying to bash the ibanks…. Do you work for Aeroforce or something? Anyway if you do, have your people update your 90s looking gauge to be more competitive. The banks is hands down a more sophisticated gauge. The thing is they dont focus on camaros while the aeroforce does hence why the aeroforce MAY have some more features. But that doesnt mean the ibanks cant get them. Their people just decide what to prioritize and what not. When i asked for E85 readings they got that for me in a month together with a few other people that was asking for the same thing. I know because I was the tester for their software.

Aeroforce name is known in the camaro world. Dont be afraid of a little comp.
