ITBFST

I bought my '16 2SS on 5/13/16. It was a dealer trade from Mark Christopher. I work at Simi Chevy, so the deal was easy enough to be done here.

Nightfall Grey, M6, mag ride, NPP, sunroof... everything.

For about the first 2 weeks, it was going to stay stock forever. Then I met up with some old G8 friends who changed that... She went E85 the next week, with a slight recalibration on the dyno by Alex at New Era in Agoura. We made 455 at the end of that session.
The next week, I ordered a D1SC... a couple days later I had Alex spec and order me a baby blower cam w/ LT4 rockers/springs/lifters/pushrods. Install weekend came and I added the LT4 fuel pump and injectors. We made 630 with only 6lbs of boost and still on E85.
I was hoping for more, so I ordered a 3.9" pulley and a set of long tubes. Hopefully, she will be back on the dyno tonight with amazing results

I needed to figure out a license plate. So brainstorming started. I'm not sure how many of you might be from the G8 world, but I will never forget Charlie. I thought about ITBFST and checked it out with his widow (and the DMV) and she gave me her blessings. Now, I just need to do it justice

10 weeks and 1 day of ownership today

oh yea. I just had AC fab in Chatsworth make me a 4.5" heat exchanger... IATs wont scare me anymore.

Ill post up pics as soon as I can get my phone to cooperate.

What tuner shop is doing this work for you? I got quoted 9k total for an Eldlebrock blower manufactured in Torrance.

746 @5500rpm. I'm out of fuel on the low side :(
Alex at new era performance is working some serious magic to get me to redlist

Too bad cam installs are nuts for this platform, would love to go cam/procharger.

I would be happy with just a cam install or something to get 450-470 WHP/torqe. But I know it will require a tune and kill my powertrain warranty

It wasn't toooo bad... ultimately I didn't need to pull the heads because the manuals aren't the DOD...But now they are studded so all is good.

I have a few questions... Do you have any idle clips, when you say "baby cam" what's your definition of baby lol.

Also What boost level are you at now and would you ever consider a F series blower?
