75-80 Re-opening?
Anyone hearing rumors that 75-80 is re-opening? A friend just told me today they were working on the property. That was the first track my dad took me to when I was knee high to a grasshopper!

I went to this strip when I was in the Air Force, back in the early 70's.

This track is 20 minutes from me! I sure hope the rumors are true! The last time rumors flew around for years and it finally opened!! Than it closed again! :( I bet it will end up being an 1/8 mile deal because of the length of the track! 10.00 was the fastest class that ran there the last time it reopened!

That’s a lot of work to do and I can’t imagine what the surface looks like.

Track itself actually looks pretty good, one of the FB post they were making hits on it already, most work looks to all the growth along the sides n the buildings n bleachers

Just watched a video that was on IG from the 4th. Looks like they didn’t touch the track and probably gonna be 1/8th mile.

I saw the Hurricane Mustang doing some 60 foot hits on it! I heard it was going to be 1/8 mile only as well... and no prep.. :( not sure I want to be running on anything that isn't prepped! I will watch though!
