no issues with 1st only with 2nd which is a PIA to get into and sometimes it pops out.
Dealer says it normal, only use 2nd at higher RPMs... Funny thing is that going from 1st to 2nd is a PIA but going from 3rd to 2nd it works as expected. I have driving a stick for over 30 years BTW...
