Premium Gas

Hey guys in Canada where are you buying your premium gas at? Who has the highest octane levels iam being told Shell but curious where everyone else is buying it at.Also Happy New Year to all the camaro loving nuts.

Petro Canada. Ultra 94. It has ethanol in it but our cars are tuned for it. And you can get petro canada points and save 5 cents - 10 cents a litre or more if you link a credit card.
Or Shell 91, no ethanol. Just air miles for purchases. No incentive to buy there.

Petro 94 - with RBC so save a bunch with rbc discount and points/promotions

I'm another Petro guy and Esso often also ( think they are 93 ?)

If you have Texaco near you it's the same fuel that's used at Chevron.

Oh and octane ratings seem to be kinda regional or based on your elevation above sea level.

I switch back and forth from Petro - 94 & Esso - 93. I like Shell but they only offer 91 so I don't use it.

Good point. I am assuming Esso is the same in terms of them having ethanol as well. If that is the case 94 Petro is your best option regardless.

In southern Alberta - elevation around 3000 ft. All we see is 91 octane - cheapest is always Costco. Never had a problem with it.
