if I needed a lawn mower I would need to get a Husky....its funny because my wife bought one for my grandson for his house he is renting at college, and he may bring it back when he gets out after this year.

That's a gorgeous picture right there. Thank you so much Sir Nuke. Greatly appreciated, and love the plates on the Colorado and the running boards go with it perfectly.

I just picked my next mod......First off, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, new trucks do not have HOMELINK in them, NONE OF THEM!! I guess they believe that all trucks are parked outside in the elements!!

Anyway.....just picked up a kit to install the 3-button Homelink module, face plate w/ buttons. Looks exactly like the buttons and faceplate that in my other GM vehicles. and actually, the module has a GM p/n on it. imagine that!

Ha, I was going to do the exact same mod on mine, but then I learned that the new jackshaft garage door opener I'm installing this fall won't be compatible with HomeLink stuff.
SO looks like I'll deal with a clicker on my visor. Boo.

No new trucks or just not on Colorado/Canyon? I just picked up my new Silverado and it has Homelink and it works just like on my Z06.

I think your new opener will work, check it out, the kit I got works with ALL ROTATING CODE openers made after 1995. AND its made by HOMELINK! so check out your opener before giving up!

Agreed. I have two liftmaster door openers with rotating codes. Homelink works for both.

Yeah, unfortunately, LiftMaster is trying REALLY HARD to make their own wireless technology work, and only their app will control it. Super not happy about that, but I will NEED a jackshaft door opener when I redo the garage. SO looks like I'll just have to live with a button.

Both our ML350 and my 2017 Denali homelink systems can open our Liftmaster jackshaft door openers, just pass on the Smartlink, it's an option anyway.
