i have had to do the reset a couple of times now, is this going to be an annual thing? have others had to go and eventually replace them?

Wondering the same thing , bought the car and car play worked , then suddenly it’s doesn’t work anymore, so weird.

I replaced my USB module and haven't had an issue since.

Did myself, sitting at 65k miles so warranties are practically all gone. I made a post documenting my thought process

So I stopped being chicken sh*t about the global reset and did it , it fixed the apple car play for now so we will see if it holds true over time.
