Rear Camera
Has anyone else experienced a message that comes up when you put it in reverse and comes up and says "Service Rear Vision System". If so, anybody know what causes the problem?

I’ve had it pop up maybe twice. Never really caused and issue since it rarely happens.

Happened to me once The grid lines were missing And service message came up Worked correct since then

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I just find it weird. Never had it happen on any other vehicle. I was thinking maybe a software glitch or something.

Check to make sure the camera lens in the back is clean and not scratched to rule out a hardware issue.

I have mine at the dealer right now for this issue. Blue screen with grid lines and “service rear camera” on the screen. They have to have the regional technical guy come out. No diagnosis as of now.

Just happened to mine, blue screen & service message! Turned radio on/off a few times & restarted car, still there! Will call the dealer tomorrow, curious if anyone finds a fix?

Got my car back yesterday. They weren’t able to duplicate the issue.. hasn’t happened since so unfortunately I can’t give you any info. Sorry man.

Jus posted the same question last week. It rained like a week straight sure water got in it. Mine still says it haven't gotten it fixed yet. One OP said he had to get a wire replaced it got wet inside the camera from rain as well. Costs him 150

Restarted the car an hour later, turned radio/screen off & back on, camera working OK again and has not been an issue for a few days now! Seems like a software issue or glitch in my case! My son has a 2016 Chevy pickup truck and has seen the same issue a few times!

My Navigator does similar things when the camera is dirty.
