Camaro 2ss rear noises
Hey guys, I have a 2019 camaro 2 ss just hit 11k miles. What star started of as a grinding noise from the rear has gotten worse immensely, I read a few forums I seen people saying it was diff fluid. I went and did a differential fluid change and the problem is still here. I then took the car to the dealership, they had the car for almost 2 weeks and claimed they never hear the noise when they test drives it. Took the car back and has soon as I'm driving back home, the noises started again but worse than before. I will try to upload vids so you guys can help me pin point the problem

What fluid did you use for your differential change?
It was the one with the friction modifier, correct? AC Delco 10-4034 / #88862624 |

Well the diff noise is typically exacerbated by turning, as the clutches skip rather than slide smoothly.
If you hear grinding while driving straight it could be brakes or (less likely) bearings. You've got two possibilities for brake noise: the pads dragging on the discs or components of the internal drum parking brake dragging. |

I had the commonly heard 'groaning' noise especially when cold. It very rarely made the noise at all once the car was warmed up after a only a few miles. The dealer did the double diff oil flush out as recommended, the noise went away and has not come back in over a year. But it was never a grinding noise, more like a smooth deep groaning noise. I'd be taking it back if the oil flush hasnt fixed it, and are you sure its diff/rear axle??

Thanks for all the help and tips guys... but I've finally found the culprit, it's my actuator that went bad.
